Attacks on network infrastructure such as the ARP spoofing or spanning tree protocol exploits, can result in eavesdropping (see 4.3.3), message alteration (see 4.3.5), message replay (see 4.3.6), message suppression (see 4.3.16) and additional types of denial of service (e.g. network failure).
