The SignalType provides ObjectType to add analog and discrete signals and is formally defined in Table 101. In order to have a common approach, PA-DIM will always use Objects, even if no Method is needed for some types.

The child Nodes of the SignalType have additional Attribute values defined in Table 103. An empty field in the column “Value Attribute” means: the text field of the variable’s value attribute has the length 0.
