The FaceAlignmentSystemType provides a representation of a FAS as a sub-type of the MiningEquipmentType as shown in Figure 1. Importantly, it is composed of a ParameterSet to monitor all relevant aspects of the equipment.

The CurrentSequenceNumber variable describes the current sequence number on which the offset values are applicable. It is being increased when offset values change.

The Offsets variable describes the offsets calculated by the FAS which have to be considered by the RSS for optimal shield alignment in aerial view.
