3.2.2 WS BrowseName

Unique name assigned to every data point in the Weihenstephan Standards. In technology based mapping the BrowseName in OPC UA stands for the WS BrowseName.

3.2.3 WS TagNumber

Unique number assigned to every data point in the Weihenstephan Standards

3.2.4 WS Protocol

The WS Protocol is a proprietary protocol based on TCP/IP and was developed by the WS Industry User Group. The WS Protocol is widely used and provides an alternative for the transmission of WS data to OPC UA.
