The ToolLifeTypeis used to indicate tool life information of a tool.

The ToolLifeTypeis formally defined in Table 93.

MachineTool Equipment ToolLife

EngineeringUnitsis used as defined in OPC 10000-8.

StartValueis the initial value for the tool life measurement (the one a new tool has).

LimitValueis the chosen value at which the tool shall be changed.

Indicationis shows what property is measured to indicate the tool life. The ToolLifeIndication DataTypeis defined in 12.8.

WarningValueis the chosen value at which a warning is sent, that the tool is intended to be changed soon.

IsCountingUpindicates if the value of the ToolLifeTypeinstance is counting upwards if True. If False, the value is counted downwards.
